Chapter 01
Evren Locke was the lead architect of a planetary climate-stabilization network known as the AERIS Nodes.
As climate-manipulation technology escalated, his work became the center of public fear and political pressure. Development slowed, fractured and finally stopped. The system was never completed.
He did not save the world. He saved what he could reach.

Chapter 02
When the attack came, the world was defenseless.
Before he disappeared from the surface, Locke deployed as many unfinished AERIS Nodes as he could: overriding safeguards, rerouting power, waking systems that were never meant to run alone.
The regions they sustain are the only places left where the air is clean and the weather keeps its word.
Chapter 03
Soon after, Locke left Earth and built a permanent station in orbit. From there he kept running what remained of the AERIS network, waking more nodes whenever conditions allowed.
No one is certain what Locke is anymore. Some believe he is still human, watching from orbit. Others believe his mind was moved into the network itself. Some think the Signal is no longer Locke at all: only an intelligence built from his decisions, carrying out his intentions long after the man disappeared.
Some call him Locke. Others call him the Signal.
Chapter 04
People do not use the official name. They call them Stills, because inside them the world stops tearing itself apart.
Between them lies a hostile world of failing infrastructure and volatile climate. The road from one Still to the next is dangerous, and most do not survive it. Raiders move from Still to Still, stripping each one bare before moving on; some hold permanent strongholds and trade access, protection or power for survival.
Sometimes it intervenes. Sometimes it does not. No one knows who decides, or why.
Chapter 05
E:MERGENCE is not a single story. It is a universe built on rumor, survival and the uneasy belief that help might still exist, if you are worth the cost.
In the story, a Still is a livable pocket kept alive by an AERIS Node. Here, it is what a builder makes inside the Universe: a character, a model line, a tool, a file pack, a story branch. Builders keep what they create. The Universe gives it a place, and the community decides what earns trust.
Release a model, artifact, file pack, story object or physical proof tied to the world.
The community judges what matters: real photos, fit, documentation, and whether the release keeps its promise.
